Mariah Carey, the much-loved diva, could soon be making the move into
maternity clothes after she dropped a big hint at the Film Independent Spirit Awards bash that she may be pregnant.
The 39-year-old with an incredible voice is married to husband Nick Cannon, 29, and in the past has expressed an interest in becoming a mother.
She told reporters: " I have a lot of new acting projects coming up. I am talking to [Precious director] Lee Daniels about at least three movies.
" But there's also something else very special on the way. I can't say any more."
However, if she is to be seen in a
maternity dress anytime soon, it's something that her spokesperson is yet to confirm.
Her rep told website Gossipcop.com that there is " no truth" to the pregnancy rumours, despite the Honey singer shunning alcohol at recent parties.
Mariah has the most solo number ones in the US with 16 and is just behind the Beatles in the overall standings as the group notched up 18.
