Mothers to be looking for a funky way to celebrate their new-found pregnancy curves might want to consider investing in a maxi
maternity dress after a string of big-name Hollywood celebs were recently photographed rocking the look.
Amy Adams, the Leap Year star, was seen out and about in Los Angeles with actor pal Emily Blunt wearing a grey maxi T-shirt dress recently, while both supermodel Gisele Bundchen and actress Rebecca Gayheart have also given it a go.
Gisele was seen wearing a darling embroidered pattern deal number before she gave birth in December, while Rebecca wore a strapless 'hippy' style maxi before giving birth to her baby girl.
A spokeswoman for Gap Inc told the Canadian Press in an interview that she predicted maxi dresses would continue to be a popular trend because of their versatility.
" They're so comfortable and they're easy just to layer with your cardigans or denim jacket," she said.
