Jeggings are essentially a mix between
maternity jeans and leggings and as such provide that extra bit of comfort for mums-to-be feeling the strain of carrying around an extra bump, while retaining the look of skinny jeans.
They will never fall down and look equally elegant when tucked into long boots or even with flats. Jeggings are a friend of the nautical look too, so look out for comfortable stripey T-shirts to pair them with.
Rachel Moor-Bryce, a stylist based in Dannii's native Australia, told the Courier Mail: " I saw a bit of it start to trickle through last winter and thought they were going to be the next big thing because they're much more comfortable than the skinny jeans.
" Women are wearing leggings like they are jeans and they are not, so at the least the jegging is a legging that is meant to be worn as a pant."
