Pregnant women looking for the perfect
wedding dress may be interested to hear the views of the editor of Perfect Wedding magazine, after she made a bold prediction on what will be the 'hot' looks this year.
Helen Webster said that wedding gowns and accessories will be mainly taking inspiration from vintage clothing collections this year and she also identified 'Hollywood glamour' as another big trend.
She added: " In the last couple of years we've seen vintage come more and more to the forefront as a big trend. We've seen a lot of sheer fabrics, lots of floaty skirts, big skirts as well - the sort of princess look.
" The other trend we have seen is more slinky understated dresses, more of a return to Hollywood glamour. [Dresses have] quite elegant lines - luxurious fabrics, lots of crystal and diamante detailing."
Research by AA Savings conducted last year showed that the average bride will spend £ 751 on her wedding dress.
