Mothers-to-be still working in the office and looking to keep cool as the temperature rises may be interested to hear some spring/summer style tips from the fashion director at Cosmopolitan.
Shelly Vella said that there will be a lot of pinafore and shirtdress type options on the high street this season and she recommends laying them up as a smart but comfortable option for the workplace.
She added: " If you have to have more of a [formal look] in jobs which do require you to either wear trousers or a smart skirt, it's a case of having very simple monochromatic pieces that you can dress up and dress down.
" A fantastic fitted trouser suit and to thwart the weather you either go for the loose silkier vest tops, a boat- neck silky top underneath your trouser suit, because that's quite easy and simple."
A long range weather report by Positive Weather Solutions has predicted a warm and sunny summer, meaning that prospective mothers-to-be should ensure their
maternity clothes are as comfortable as can be.
