Amanda Holden and Chris Hughes have baby girl
We told you yesterday that we suspected a birth was imminent for Amanda Holden, but it turns out that baby Hollie Rose has already been welcomed to the world.
The star's husband Chris Hughes delayed releasing a statement because Amanda has been ill, but he has confirmed that a second daughter for the couple was born on Monday (January 23rd 2012).
She weighed in at 6lb 1oz and is said to be healthy, although it is thought she may have been a little early.
Meanwhile, Amanda is doing much better, although it was not revealed what her health problems were and why she was admitted to hospital.
"She is now stable and we expect her to make a full recovery very soon. We thank you for respecting their privacy at this time," Chris commented.
Amanda's Britain's Got Talent co-stars David Walliams and Simon Cowell have already offered their congratulations, with Cowell potentially set to become the baby's godfather.
In the meantime, we wish Amanda a speedy recovery and hope to see her out and about in fashionable nursing tops very soon.
