A Message from the Designer
As a mother of two boys myself, the challenge of looking stylish with a bump is one that I know very well. I set up Seraphine in 2002 with a vision to shake up the maternity wear industry. I wanted to create fashionable maternity clothes that you would want to wear even if you weren’t pregnant, and that guiding principle remains at the heart of everything we do today.
We’ve come a long way since those early days, and today Seraphine enjoys a well-earned reputation across the US as the go-to brand for trendy moms-to-be seeking stylish maternity clothes
Seraphine is a Hollywood favorite and I am so proud to have dressed some very glamorous celebrity bumps along the way. Everyone from movie stars like Jessica Alba, Anne Hathaway and Kate Winslet to rock stars like Gwen Stefani and Shakira, and even royalty including Kate Middleton the Duchess of Cambridge have found their pregnancy style at Seraphine! We enjoy a fantastic reputation in the press, and are also very proud of the industry prizes we have been awarded over the years including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise 2015.
Our two flagship maternity stores in New York City are top destinations for stylish mamas-to-be looking for the perfect pre-baby shopping experience. Glamorously appointed, our boutiques carry a hand-selected range of Seraphine styles, covering everything you need for your nine months and beyond. While our dedicated US website ships stunning maternity wear out to expectant moms across the country, bringing Seraphine styles to an ever-increasing audience.
I’d like to thank you for joining us on our journey, and for choosing to make Seraphine a part of yours at such a special time.
We are proud to work with leading mother and baby charities, and have run several successful charity campaigns, raising thousands of dollars to help support their vital work.
Our beautiful range of baby clothes, The Diana Collection was created in collaboration with the Diana Award – the charity set up in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales. The collection features the iconic Diana pastel tartan, and 12% of each sale goes towards the charity’s anti-bullying campaign.
