1) Describe your style in 3 words.
My “style” has basically remained the same, with a few adjustments to accommodate a bump. I would describe it as simple, glamorous, yet edgy.
2) Fitted or Flowy for your bump?
You wouldn’t necessarily think it, but because it makes me look slimmer, I prefer fitted these days. Also, people seem to really like seeing the bump and find it endearing. Not to say that there aren’t days that flowy pieces can be a welcome change; just make sure you still have some feminine shape either up on top or at the bottom.
3) Which celebrity style do you admire and why?
I admire Kourtney Kardashian’s style; she’s dressed her bump three times already, and she never fails to look good with little ones in tow.
4) Any tips for Holiday Dressing?
For holiday dressing, I’d say go with classic fitted maternity dresses, bold accessories, and tights. Whether sheer or opaque, tights definitely make me feel more confident, especially with a few extra imperfections making an appearance with the weight gain and swelling that come with pregnancy. Find your perfect red lip too; you only need one, and once you find it, it’ll instantly glam up any look. My absolute favorite is the long-wearing matte Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick in Icon.
5) What’s your favorite Seraphine piece and why?
My favorite Seraphine pieces are definitely their silk gowns for special occasions, whether it be a maternity photoshoot, baby shower, or wedding guest attire. The Embellished Grecian Gown that i wore for my photoshoot is romantic with the flowing fabric from the empire waist down and subtly glamorous with the sparkling silver embellishments on the shoulder straps and just under the bust. 6) Do you have any top tips to share with other pregnant moms?
For all the expecting mamas out there, I’d have to say that putting yourself together at the start of the day, even if you don’t feel like it at the time, will pay off throughout the rest of your day. That might mean anything from a full face of makeup to just a swipe of mascara and lipgloss. Looking at least somewhat put-together can really help lift your spirits with just a few minutes invested in the morning.
Secondly, try not to stress so much over prepping for the baby, how life will change, and any other general stressors life tends to throw at you. The main goal is to take care of the little life growing miraculously inside of you; take each day little by little.
7) What has been your favorite moment during pregnancy so far?
My favorite moment during pregnancy is every time I feel my baby kick, move, and hiccup. It’s a sweet reminder that she’s doing well and that I’ll get to meet her soon enough.
