Seraphine is an award-winning British maternity brand, providing affordable luxury fashion for the stylish mum-to-be.

As an Account Manager at Seraphine you will be the key point of contact for our customers and sales agents. You will be required to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers and to develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities

As an Account Manager you will drive sales forward to achieve forecast and budget as well as identifying new product areas and opportunities for Seraphine.

Key Accountabilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
  • To manage and solve conflicts with clients by liaising with senior wholesale team Members
  • To maximise sales and profit return from Seraphine wholesale business
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with Seraphine wholesale accounts
  • To identify new customers and pitch for new business
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of orders according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to management
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales targets
  • Forecast and track key account metrics
  • Collaborate with wholesale team to identify and grow opportunities within assigned territories
  • Assist Wholesale Administrator with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed
  • To organise new range presentation with clients and agents
  • To manage the order book against delivery trackers and budgets.
  • Communicate with accounts team on each customer’s status.
  • Work closely with product development and merchandising teams to identify new sales opportunities within product categories and deliveries.

Person specification:

  • Minimum two years’ experience working in a wholesale account management role with evidenced track record of achieving challenging sales targets to increase company revenue in women fashion
  • Excellent verbal and written English
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and all MS Office applications
  • Experience in using a bespoke or industry recognized software (SAP, Prima Solutions, Business Objects)
  • Proven track record in wholesale or office administration environment
  • Takes responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks; able to handle multiple work streams and deliver to agreed deadlines, managing priorities and focusing as needed
  • Additional languages, fluent in written and oral - ideally Spanish/ French or Japanese
